Seeking UX, Accessibility, Human Factors connections working in the home appliance space. My colleagues and I working on a grant proposal for XR simulations of vision impairment to augment product designers' ability to empathize with users with different vision impairments and discover latent needs. We are focusing on the design of everyday consumer products, specifically kitchen appliances.
We want to partner with home appliance companies to learn more about the company's practices & goals for accessible/inclusive design + perspectives on the XR concept.
