As many of you are aware, there are several major changes to the HFES submission/review process this year.
First, the submissions were shortened to extended abstracts. Second, HFES wants to have a greater number of reviewers per submission. Third, HFES really wants to strengthen the quality of the reviewers given to submitters. Fourth, there will likely be a second round of review after the initial set is accepted - though I'll admit the details of this second review are still being defined. Dr. Tokadli and I will do our best to communicate and provide timely information as we all move forward with these new processes.
