Speaker: Louis Simeonidis is the Director of Business Development for Furhat Robotics, specializing in bringing AI-powered social robots to life. He is passionate about making social robotics accessible for researchers, developers, and organizations looking to build the next generation of AI-driven assistants and agents.
Abstract: Advances in large language models (LLMs) and no-code platforms are enabling the creation of intelligent assistants and agentic systems that bridge the gap between humans and AI. This talk will explore how social robots, like FurhatAI, can serve as assistants that provide informationand agents that take action, enhancing human-AI-robot teamingthrough natural, multimodal interactions. We'll discuss the role of these technologies in human factors research and how they can be leveraged to build adaptive, context-aware AI-driven collaborations.
