Dear HFES CEDM TG colleagues,
Thank you all for your contributions to the CEDM TG over the years. The submissions for presentation at the annual meeting (ASPIRE) are due soon.
At this time, we're also putting out a request for submission reviewers.
Please volunteer to review 2026 Aspire submissions for CEDM TG. We're looking for both non-student and student reviewers.
Here are some key details about the review process:
-
Monday, February 16th: submissions due Monday, Feb. 16th;
-
Monday, March 9th: assigned reviews notifications sent to reviewers on;
-
reviewing is a two-stage process --- first stage reviews 2 page extended abstract submissions --- second stage reviews full papers;
-
reviewers will first review stage one submissions of up to two pages outlining the intent of the submission;
-
Sunday, April 5th: stage 1 presentation reviews of two page extended abstracts are due;
-
Monday, April 13th: stage 1 presentation review author notifications for acceptance/rejection;
-
Tuesday, May 19th: final, revised two page extended abstract and/or full 5 page manuscript for publications in the proceedings are due;
-
Saturday, May 23rd: stage 2 proceedings submissions review of 2 page abstracts or 5 page manuscripts assigned to reviewers;
-
Wednesday, June 3rd: stage 2 proceedings submissions review of 2 page abstracts or 5 page manuscripts reviews are due.
If you are a reviewer for an accepted two page presentation submission that is also submitted as a full 2 page extended abstract or 5 page full paper for publication in the conference proceedings, then you will be asked to also review the stage two proceedings submissions as well.
Please fill out this volunteer reviewer form before March 8th to confirm your preferred reviewer email and how many papers you can review: hthttps://forms.gle/pALnRsMfbv7R8rxr5. And if you're submitting to present at this year's conference, you'll also have an opportunity to indicate that you want to be a reviewer when you submit your two page abstract.
If you have any questions regarding the process, please feel free to email Joe or me, or contact Program Chair Assistant Nicolas Grimaldi at n.grimaldi@ufl.edu.
Your time and help are always appreciated. Thank you in advance for helping to make this year the best year yet!
Best regards,
J. Manganelli, AIA, CHFP, LEED AP BD+C, PhD
