Mr. Jeremy Spaulding


Bio

Jeremy Spaulding brings a background in industrial & systems engineering and more than 15 years of proven success in technical innovation, systems design, human-centered design, strategy development, and thought leadership that challenges the norm. His leadership style and energy foster a culture of creativity and collaboration in ideation and new concept development. In addition to founding and leading JMS Innovation & Strategy, he is an in-residence Public Policy Fellow, focusing in emerging technologies and intersections with emerging and developing markets, and former Advisory Board member for The Wilson Center’s Science and Technology Innovation Program (STIP) in Washington DC.  Jeremy also has experience working with Indian and European scaleup venture companies, as well as other international ventures through his prior role as Senior Vice President, Technology with AutoNebula, and ongoing role as senior advisor and program architecture role at the Alliance for U.S. International Business (AUSIB). 

 

Jeremy has significant achievements in vehicle design, analytics, wireless solutions, advanced gesture and speech-based systems, and intelligent vehicle technologies and experience navigating development spanning five major industries as well as academia.  Jeremy has authored numerous patents and publications in scientific development of new or emerging technologies for product solutions in multiple market segments. In addition to his technical achievements, Jeremy also has proven business innovation advancements through various roles venture creation, mentoring startups and scaling businesses, business acceleration, and strategic advisory.  He is passionate about new technologies that push the boundaries of convention and continuously strives to successfully bridge technology development with artistic thought leadership, as evidenced by his roles at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars and relationships with other leading institutions.  He is a systems thinker and embraces a global perspective through roles with international businesses, multinational design teams, and committees for large corporations, extensive travel, and having spent his formative years residing in Turkey, and often describes himself as child of the world.
