Aaron Bangor is Principal User Experience Researcher at AT&T. In this role, he uses his varied innovation, technology, and human-centered design and research skills to craft exceptional experiences for its diverse customers and employees. One of his proudest professional achievements was as co-founder and technical lead of AT&T’s first company-wide team dedicated to promoting accessible technology, which is still regarded as an industry model. He is board-certified in human factors as well as accessibility, has been granted 35 US patents, and holds a Ph.D. in Human Factors Engineering from Virginia Tech. Outside of AT&T, Dr. Bangor serves as chair of a local non-profit that promotes workplace inclusion, is active in developing national and international human factors and accessibility standards, served on several national public policy councils, and has been appointed by the last two governors of Texas to multiple advisory board that promote full and equitable access for Texans with disabilities.
