Parkhi Malhotra is a Human Factors and UX Researcher and a PhD student in Human Systems Engineering at Arizona State University. Her work centers on XR-based team training, human–AI interaction, and resilience in high-stakes environments, with projects spanning military medic training, clinical workflow systems, and human-centered automation. Coming from a Computer Science Engineering background, she blends systems thinking, design, and behavioral science to create meaningful, scalable solutions. She is also an active contributor to HFES, serving as the 2025 Newsletter Lead for the Sustainability Technical Group and supporting international conference initiatives. Across her roles, Parkhi is driven by a commitment to impact, collaboration, and designing technology that truly supports human performance.
