Professor Radwin is the Duane H. and Dorothy M. Blumke Professor in industrial and systems engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He innovates new methods for research and practice of human factors engineering and occupational ergonomics. He is known for his work on biomechanics and hand tools and has introduced new methods and approaches for studying muscle strain, grip, and hand exertions. He is also known for advancing new methods to measure and quantify physical stress in the workplace for preventing musculoskeletal injuries. Professor Radwin is a fellow of five professional societies, has served on national committees, and is currently the review track editor for the journal Human Factors. He is founder and past chair of the UW-Madison Department of Biomedical Engineering and is a Discovery Fellow at the Wisconsin Institute for Discovery.
