We have three leadership opportunities available to contribute to the Occupational Ergonomics Technical Group! Leadership on an HFES Technical Group (TG) is a wonderful way to hone your leadership skills, share your expertise, and help advance specific application areas of human factors and ergonomics. Please consider service to HFES as a member of the Occupational Ergonomics TG's leadership.
The positions available for full members to serve as candidates to run for these elected positions are:

TG Chair-Elect: The chair-elect assists the current chair as needed, though the ultimate responsibility for the TG's operation lies with the current chair. The duties are overlapping. The TG Chair-Elect serves through September 2024 and then becomes the TG Chair and serves in that position through October 2025.

TG Program Chair-Elect: The program chair-elect assists the current program chair with the technical review of papers for the annual meeting. The TG Program Chair-Elect serves through September 2024 and then becomes the TG Program Chair and serves in that position through October 2025.

Newsletter Editor-Elect: The newsletter editor-elect assists the newsletter editor with coordinating all electronic communications to technical members and keeping the TG's official community page (or other electronic communication mediums) active and up to date. The Newsletter Editor-Elect serves through September 2024 and then becomes the Newsletter Editor and serves in that position through October 2025.
