A practitioner in HFES has asked the questions listed below and Camille Peres, Caroline Cao and I were hoping that someone on these lists might know the answers. If so, would you please let us know?
1. When an ergonomics consulting provider is conducting individual ergo assessments, does that need to be covered by a HIPAA Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with every employer?
2. And/or with an employer that is a HIPAA "covered entity"?
3. Same questions for when the ergo assessments are provided by an internal ergonomics specialist?
