    Hi CEDM TG members,

We are preparing for our first newsletter for this year, and we would love to have contents from our own community.
If you have something interesting that everyone should know, or an opinion about a certain phenomenon happening right now (you can stay anonymous or get people to flood your inbox!), let us know!

We are open for the following contents:

    • A series of vignettes (1–2 paragraphs, ~250 words) chronicling important landmarks of the field.
    • New publications or talks of interest (recommendations of a sort), especially books and larger-form works, but articles are acceptable. (<100 words and a link)
    • Current events of relevance; consequential events of the past few months and relevant journalism concerning public life, commercial life, and CEDM topics (<100 words and a link, e.g., Anthropic's automated survey on 81,000 users and how it sparks a discourse among qualitative methods practitioners.)
    • Announcements (e.g., news from your organization-especially if you are starting something new, solicitations for journals, graduating students and links to their theses/dissertations, obituaries, job postings, deadlines, resources)
    • Calendar Events (esp. virtual or hybrid events that all members can attend)
    • Photos from CEDM-related events from the past 4 months (e.g., HFES Healthcare Symposium).

If you are interested in contributing, please do not shy away from e-mailing me at vrenata@wisc.edu with a draft of your content or schedule a virtual meeting for further discussion.
