    Dear HART TG members,
    Our monthly TG member conversations will start again on the last Tuesday of each month at 12 pm ET. This is a great learning and networking opportunity in HART TG.

    Our January event will be on Tue, January 31st, at 12 pm ET. The topic of the lightning talk will be Studying Team Interactions with Mathematical Models. Our guest speaker is Lucero Rodriguez.

    Lucero Rodriguez is a fourth year PhD student in Applied Mathematics for Life and Social Science at Arizona State University. She previously graduated from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in 2018 with a B.S. in Applied Mathematics and a B.A in Theatre. Lucero's fascination by how humans tell stories, interact with each other and their environment lead her to use mathematical modeling to study the complex adaptive systems that emerge when humans interact with their environment, fellow humans, and with autonomous devices.     A rough agenda is about 10 min lightning talk, followed by Q&A and guided discussions in a big group. (That's right, we will try the big group approach rather than the small group approach this year.)
