You are invited to join in a Dialogue focusing on what is needed for an HFE curriculum to support sustainability. Our question: "How can we design a Human Factors and Ergonomics curriculum that adequately prepares students to address the complex challenges of climate change and biodiversity loss, and how can we ensure that this curriculum is inclusive and equitable for all students?" (March 8th)

In dialogue together we explore, share, and learn perspectives and understanding, leaning along the way. We begin with a simple question, sometimes topical and sometimes general. We each share a few words as we all open ourselves to listen and hear each other. As our Dialogue continues we learn and discover about our topic, ourselves and each other, leaving the experiences with new understanding.
You can find information about Bohmian Dialogue in many places online including the website Dialogue Boulder hosted by John Ruffin.
The HFE & Sustainability Dialogues begin with a topic / question that will support us in exploring a territory of mutual interest. Below are a few topics that have been proposed and the first one "HFE Curriculum to support sustainability" is scheduled for March 8th. The dialogues support the HFES Sustainability Task Force agenda.

- What HF domains will be in the new TG and to be included in the Special Issue of Human Factors?
- Individual Behavior: What are some of the barriers and challenges to promoting sustainable behavior, and how can ergonomics and human factors approaches be used to overcome these obstacles?
- ChatGPT – Exploring "collaboration" with ChatGPT for HFE & Sustainability.
- Other Dialogue starting points may come from you ….. Please share your ideas.
