Happy Pride Month! I hope you're all finding moments this month to celebrate, reflect, connect with community, and recognize the many people whose courage and advocacy have made it possible for us to be here today.
We'll be holding our monthly HFES LGBTQ+ AG call tonight at 7:00 PM ET / 4:00 PM PT.

For this month's call, we'll dedicate time to talk about upcoming AG activities, opportunities to get involved, and connecting with one another. As always, whether you're a long-time member or joining us for the first time, you're very welcome.
Given that it is Pride Month, I'd also like to set aside some space for conversation and reflection. Pride can mean many different things to different people-celebration, community, visibility, remembrance, resilience, advocacy, or simply the chance to be ourselves. If you'd like, come prepared to share a Pride experience, tradition, organization, book, movie, TV show, or personal reflection that has been meaningful to you.
In a profession dedicated to understanding and improving human experiences, I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of a community that continues to support LGBTQ+ professionals and students within HFES.
