The Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (HFES) is providing the Roommate Finder Service for the benefit of its meeting attendees. Use this forum to engage with other attendees looking for roommates with whom you may share lodging costs. The two (or more) of you will need to make arrangements for housing on your own (securing your actual reservation) and agree on how to split the room costs. We recommend you discuss whether roommates can charge items to the room.

How to Participate:

  • Click the Discussion link to create a post that indicates you are seeking a roommate to share the hotel lodging expense

  • Provide your gender identity or how you self-describe your gender identity

  • Indicate the gender identity of those you would consider sharing hotel accommodations

  • Indicate your planned number of lodging nights (arrival date and departure date) and feel free to add a brief personal message

  • ALTERNATIVELY:  Browse any postings and contact the individual you would like to invite to share lodging/expenses by clicking the downward arrow on the “Reply” button. Then click “Reply Privately” to engage with the individual

  • DELETE your posting once you no longer seek a roommate
