Areas of concern include the nature, content, and quantification of sensory information and the context in which it is displayed; the physics and psychophysics of information display; perceptual and cognitive representation and interpretation of displayed information; assessment of workload using tasks having a significant perceptual component; and actions and behaviors that are consequences of information presented to the various sensory systems.

HFES PPTG Call for Reviewers for ASPIRE

03-13-2024 16:26

Dear PPTG Members,
Thanks for your continuous support of the Perception and Performance Technical Group. With ASPIRE (previously known as the HFES Annual Meeting) submissions ready, we need your help with reviews. Any amount of reviews, small or large, will be a great support. We're looking for both student and non-student reviewers.

In 2024, the initial review phase involves shorter submissions, up to 1,250 words, not full papers or abstracts. This means less effort per submission. We aim to increase both the number of reviews per submission and the quality of these reviews, so we encourage more reviews from you, keeping the total workload the same. If the author of the selected extended abstract decides to publish a conference proceedings with us, we expect you to contribute to a 2nd round review. Initial reviews are from March 20 to April 8. Reviewers of accepted submissions will review full papers or abstracts from May 14 to June 10.

Please sign up using the following link by March 16: https://purdue.ca1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_0ddHneeanvDOObA

For questions, please email me at nade.liang@outlook.com

Thanks in advance for your help and commitment!

Best,
Nade Liang
