As a human factors engineer and user experience architect, I am passionate about increasing safety and usability as well as improving customer satisfaction through user research and user-centered design. My experience in user interface design has exposed me to a variety of domains where product success hinges on quality design including medical devices, healthcare information technology, military aviation, mining operations, office and professional imaging, large corporate websites, web applications, and consumer electronics. I enjoy all stages of product development and commercialization. My publications and patents related to user interface design demonstrate my commitment to research and innovation. Recently, my work has focused on usability testing to help medical device manufacturers ensure safe and effective products that meet the requirements of the FDA and European governing bodies. I previously lead interaction design, human factors engineering, contextual inquiry, and usability testing at Bresslergroup.
