Certified Professional Ergonomist with 16 year career at IBM: Occupational Safety and Ergonomics programs on 11,000 employee campus, three manufacturing plants, and eventual responsibility for 51,000 employees in 16 states in southeast region USA. Awarded CPE in 1995. Responsibilities included: sole technical standard owner for worldwide IBM ergonomics program development, workplace analysis and evaluation, injury investigation, design review, equipment inspection, ergonomic and safety auditing, medical staff interface to reduce injury severity and worker’s compensation costs, development and implementation of customized ergonomic training for Austin site’s employees. Worked with “train the trainer” program to improve overall safety & ergonomic awareness to all manufacturing employees. Supported team-work on ISO-18001 certification process. Team member supporting application and certification process for first IBM location to receive OSHA VPP Star status.

7 year career Manufacturing: CESCO Magnetics. Operational relocation from CA to TX and management of manufacturing company offering sanitary food, beverage, and pharmacy grade magnetic separation filters. Facility equipped with full CNC machining operation. Accountable for all aspects of manufacturing operations, procedures, and quality assurance; including all purchasing, inventory control and systematic program development, manufacturing scheduling, shipping/receiving, facilities and equipment maintenance, employee management, customer support, network and computer maintenance, CAD support to manufacturing, software maintenance, environmental and IT security.
