The inaugural Regional event was a HUGE success! We are already beginning to plan the next multi-region event for April 17th, 2026. The demand for these events is very large, so we need great volunteers to help out! There are two main asks:
- Regional Coordinators: We are currently looking for 4 Regional Coordinators. These Regional coordinators will work with those in charge of the individual events within each region and will meet with the other Regional Coordinators and the Regional Chairperson as needed. As a Regional Coordinator, your job will be to help the Local Regional Event Chairs create their teams, plan, and execute a successful event. It's a very exciting opportunity to fill an important need within the HFE community at a local and regional level. We have LOTS of structure and support already created, so it shouldn't be too hard.
- Local Regional Event Chairs: We have heard from multiple locations who wish to hold events in their area next year during the Regional Event. If you are interested in an event in your area, please reach out to Christy Harper, Regional Chairperson. Even if you cannot be chair, you may know someone in your area who could and maybe you could be on the team for the meeting.
