Hopefully TG chairs have received the below information already, but cross-posting here if you did not. Many people split how they communicate with HFES between this and/or email.

HIGHLIGHTED KEY POINTS - SOME MAY REQUIRE YOUR ACTION SO PLEASE REVIEW =)

We are excited to welcome Katie Tippey as the newly elected Council of Technical Groups (COTG) Chair-Elect! Katie will serve as Chair-Elect until the end of 2024, and will assume her role as Chair of the COTG in January of 2025.

    Annual Technical Group Business Meetings

It is strongly encouraged to host your Annual Technical Group Business Meeting virtually either shortly before, or shortly after the HFES Annual Meeting, ASPIRE. Hosting a virtual business meetings makes it more accessible for more members who cannot attend ASPIRE in person.

    Circle of Excellence Program

The Technical Group Circle of Excellence (TG CoE) program is an annual program where TGs will strive to meet certain criteria to reach the desired level of achievement. TGs can play a much more vital and visible role in HFES's desire to grow in size, in those who we engage as members, and those who we serve in the community. To do this, we would like to promote TG's knowledge both within and outside of HFES to help others learn who we are, what we know, and what we do through this society-wide recognition program.

Learn more about the program and frequently asked questions about tracking activities and scoring.

Technical Group Chairs received a link to a Google Spreadsheet to track your TG's activities related to the CoE program. If you need us to resend you that link, please reach out to Enar Ogar at egoar@hfes.org
