Abstract:
"If you don't know where you are going, you might wind up someplace else"-Yogi Berra & "Failing to plan is planning to fail"-Benjamin Franklin. For HFES, these two quotes together are meaningful because they remind me that as a Society, we must know where we want to go AND we must make plans for getting there. Although all the executive council of HFES and many of the leaders of committees, technical groups, etc. have some idea of HFES' goals and plans, many HFES members do not. Indeed, some of the changes that have occurred in the past years are associated with goals and plans for HFES. Would you like to know more about these? Would you like to be involved in refining the plan? Come to this session to discuss where HFES is going and how we are going to get there!!
