    In the third session of the OETG webinar series, students, recent graduates, and early-career professionals will hear from early/mid-career practitioners working in industry, healthcare, and technology. 

    Panelists will outline their career paths, highlight the diversity of roles in occupational ergonomics, and discuss projects that impact safety, design, and performance in real-world environments. This session will specifically focus on navigating today's workplace: recruiting, job search strategies, and building professional connections. Attendees will learn practical tips for resume building, networking, and skill development. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a live Q&A session, where they can engage directly with the panelists.

    🎤 Panelists

    • Dr. Rachel Hybart, Consultant at Rimkus, a firm specializing in forensic investigations and expert services.  

    • Dr. Aanuoluwapo Ojelade, Biomechanical Engineer at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Tennessee. 

    • Dr. Kristi Schmidt Bauerly, Human Factors Engineer at Apple, where she has worked for more than 14 years on the design and evaluation of personal technologies. 

    • Dr. Angela Levitan, Senior Biomechanist and Human Factors Engineer as well as a Certified Professional Ergonomist.

    • Jill Streamer, Systems Engineer specializing in Human Factors and Ergonomics with Boeing Technology Innovation's (BTI) Production System Modeling, Simulation & Analysis group.

    • Harrison Sims, Second-year Ph.D. student in Industrial and Operations Engineering at the University of Michigan, specializing in human factors.
