Hello Cybersecurity Technical Group Community,
We are seeking nominations for the position of Cybersecurity Technical Group Program Vice Chair (Elect) for a special election to be held in April 2026.
This is an elected leadership role within the Technical Group. After serving approximately one year as Program Vice Chair (Elect), the individual will assume the role of Program Chair for a one-year term.
Please note that full HFES membership is required both to be nominated and to serve in this position.
Responsibilities of the Program Vice Chair (Elect) include:
• Serving as understudy to the Technical Group's Technical Program Chair
• Soliciting technical paper submissions and other program proposals
• Serving on the Technical Group Program Chair's committee
All other Technical Group positions are filled at the discretion of the Technical Group. These appointments are made by the current Technical Group Chair in consultation with the Technical Group Vice Chair.
