Hi Everyone,
I'm reaching out to ask you to donate your time. As is our tradition, the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (HFES) Training Technical Group (TTG) is offering two competitions for students. In addition, this year, we are introducing a new award that is open to all HFES members. As a result, the TTG needs reviewers to "judge" the competitions.
- The Best Student-Authored Lecture Award is awarded to the student who submits the best Proceedings paper. The student receives $250.
- The Best Student-Authored Research Proposal Award is awarded to the student who submits the best research proposal. The student receives $599 to defray research costs and/or the cost of attending next year's HFES Annual Meeting. The winner is asked to report on the winning research project at next year's TTG business meeting (i.e., the 2025 meeting).
- The Best Poster Award is open to all HFES members and is associated with a certificate of recognition.
To successfully administer these awards, the HFES TTG is in need of dedicated individuals like you, who can meticulously review nominees for each of these awards. Your role as a reviewer is crucial, as your scores and comments will be combined with others to provide valuable feedback to the entrants and to select this year's winners. We anticipate asking for your reviews to be completed by late summer.
