The HFES Representatives & Liaisons Committee is seeking volunteers.
About the Committee: The Representatives and Liaisons Committee coordinates interactions between HFES and approximately 20 other professional societies (e.g., by co-hosting Webinars that are mutually beneficial). The committee is seeking HFES members who also belong to one of the following professional societies and are interested in serving as a liaison: (1) Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation, (2) International Pediatric Simulation Society, (3) National Safety Council, (4) Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, or (5) User Experience Professional Association.
When: This Volunteer Opportunity will begin on August 4, 2025.
Time Commitment: Less than 4 hours per month
Who Qualifies: The HFES member must also be a member of one of the following professional societies and have interest in serving as a liaison: (1) Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation, (2) International Pediatric Simulation Society, (3) National Safety Council, (4) Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, or (5) User Experience Professional Association.
This committee needs one volunteer from each of the 5 societies mentioned above.
