We are excited to announce that the planning for our second round of HFES BIPOC Mentorship Circles is officially underway.
Our goal is to ensure that both mentee and mentor feel prepared to maximize their experience. To support this, we are hosting a series of presentations designed to foster early connections. These touchpoints will help mentees define their goals and provide mentors with insight into the needs of our community before we distribute our formal expertise and interest surveys.
With a focus on mentees, this presentation will provide information about mentoring and what makes an effective mentor. Whether you want to find a mentor, or are even considering being a mentor, this presentation will provide attendees with an understanding of the mentoring relationship.
We look forward to seeing you there!

The Search for a Mentor: Tips for Finding the Right Mentor for You.
Are you wanting to find a mentor but are unsure of where or what to look for? This presentation offers practical guidance for a mentee that can lead to successful partnership. We will address common questions such as "What makes a good mentor?" and "How do I find one?" The session also includes a self-reflection exercise to help you define what a meaningful mentorship relationship looks like for you.
