Dear Members of the HFES Occupational Ergonomics Technical Group,

I would like to invite you to participate in a research study on posture assessment in office environments.

I am a Ph.D. candidate in Industrial Engineering at the University of Windsor, working under the supervision of Dr. Eunsik Kim. The purpose of this study is to validate a computer vision–based system for upper-body posture classification by comparing its performance with expert evaluations.

We are seeking professionals with expertise in ergonomics, human factors, kinesiology, or occupational health.

Participants will be asked to review a series of posture images and classify six upper-body joints as "Healthy" or "Poor" based on their professional judgment.

Estimated time commitment: approximately 20–30 minutes.

This study has been reviewed and approved by the University of Windsor Research Ethics Board (REB #45093).

Your participation will contribute to the development and validation of objective posture assessment tools aimed at reducing musculoskeletal disorders in office workers.

If appropriate, I would also appreciate it if you could share this invitation with colleagues who may be interested.
