Now that our most recent leadership appointments for Human Factors & Ergonomics Society Sustainability Technical Group have been made, we are happy to announce our new membership director, communication director and webinar coordinator:
Halle Goral is the Membership Director and is responsible for tracking and welcoming all our new members. She is a 4th-year Human Systems Engineering student at Arizona State University with a deep interest in human-computer interaction and user experience
AJ Diokno is the Communication Director and oversees the website, social media and newsletter teams for outreach. She is a 4th year Ph.D. student at Rice University in the Human-Computer Interaction and Human Factors program. Her experience spans 4+ years in the aviation, aerospace, healthcare, and technology industries.
Asma Tabassum is the Webinar Coordinator and organizes and hosts webinars for Sustainability TG. She is an aerospace researcher experienced in autonomous systems, control, and safety. She holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and has worked on human-Autonomy teaming and uncrewed aircraft compliance.
