Hello, XRTG!
Thank you to those who were able to join the XRTG Spring Meeting. I have attached the slides and notes captured on the call.
I am very excited to announce that the XRTG will be a Featured TG in July. The needs for this are in red in bulleted list below. There are some ways that you (yes, YOU! Or your students! Or your colleagues!) can be more involved below, or by letting me know activities you are involved in slide 8.

- Annual Meeting Submission Review: Complete outstanding reviews for publication submissions and ensure review comments are submitted before author notification date. (All reviewers)
- Circle of Excellence Report Submission: Send the Circle of Excellence form before the annual meeting, even if some items are still planned and not yet completed. (Stef)
- Social Media Campaign for Featured Month: Coordinate and prepare at least four social media posts for July, including one DEI-focused post, and collect relevant content from members. (Ahmad, Stef, All members)
- Bulletin Article Contribution: Solicit and collect volunteers or student contributions for a bulletin article relevant to the TG for publication. (Stef, All members)
- Webinar Planning and Coordination: Follow up with the Training TG to organize a joint online webinar related to XRTG, and collect additional webinar ideas from members. (Stef, All members)
- Showcase Award and Video Feature: Plan and implement a "Best Demo" or "Most Popular Demo" award for the XR Showcase, and coordinate video interviews and features for the website after the event. (Hy, Ahmad, Stef)
- Podcast Feature Submission: Send information about the podcast to Stef for social media and community feature. (Shannon)
- Student Financial Support Identification: Identify students who need financial support to attend HFES and communicate their needs to Stef for possible assistance and recognition. (All members)
- Academia/Industry/Practitioner Best Paper/Poster: Plan and implement best paper awards for non-student submissions. (Stef and anyone interested)
