    Hello,

We are conducting a research study to better understand the importance of establishing consistent taxonomies and terminologies for extended reality (XR) technologies. This study also explores how evolving terminology impacts cross-disciplinary understanding and collaboration within emerging technologies such as Augmented Reality (AR), Augmented Virtuality (AV), Mixed Reality (MR), Virtual Reality (VR), and Extended Reality (XR).

You are being asked to participate because of your expertise in XR technologies and we would greatly value your insights.

    Key Details:

    • Time Commitment: Approximately 25 minutes

    • What You'll Do: Complete an online survey via Qualtrics that includes questionnaires, sorting activities, and demographic questions related to your experience with XR technologies.

    • Participation: Voluntary and completely anonymous-no personally identifiable information will be collected.

    Who Can Participate:

    • Individuals aged 18 or older who are affiliated with XR research or practice (i.e., XR stakeholders).
