    This is a call for two different HFEWOMAN opportunities; one for officer positions and the other one is for our annual awards. See below for details of both calls:

    HFEWOMAN Officer Positions

    We are accepting nominations to fill three core officer positions within the HFE Women's Organization for Mentoring and Networking (HFE WOMAN)!What?

    The group has openings for 3 of our core officer positions:  

    • HFE WOMAN Chair Elect
    • Events Chair
    • Web Content Chair

    To fill these positions, we are asking for nominations with elections to follow:

    Who can nominate?
    Anyone who is engaged in the HFE WOMAN community and/or the larger HFES community may nominate or participate in the election process.

    Who can be nominated?
    Most positions are available to all levels of HFES membership. Please see the nomination form for additional details.

    When?
    Nominations are open between now and May 31st, 2024.

    HFE WOMAN open call for nominations

    Human Factors and Ergonomics Women's Organization for Mentorship and Networking (HFE  WOMAN) would like to announce the nomination period is now open for their 2024 awards. The  nomination period has been extended to May 24, 2024. 

    HFE WOMAN sponsors three awards each year, HFE WOMAN Woman of the Year, HFE  WOMAN Mentor of the Year, and the Rising Star Award. These awards are presented annually  during the HFE WOMAN luncheon. Details on these awards can be found at here. 

    HFES Full Members, Fellows, and Emeritus Fellows in good standing may nominate worthy  candidates for the awards. Candidates need not be members of the Human Factors and  Ergonomics Society. Candidates for the award may self-nominate or ask colleagues to submit  nominations on their behalf. 

    Nominees should submit the candidate's résumé or curriculum vitae, a nominating letter, and at  least one (but not more than two) letters of support from individuals who know the candidate  well enough to assess his or her candidacy in terms of the award's criteria. Send all nomination  packages via email to the awards committee at hfewomanawards@gmail.com, and identify that it  is a nomination packet in the subject line (e.g., Nomination Woman Year). Please submit the  package as a single file in PDF format.
