Hello everyone,
At the HFES annual meeting (ASPIRE), the Aerospace systems technical group will hand out two awards to acknowledge the scientific quality of the work presented:
- Best student paper (best paper identified as a student work)
- Overall best paper
The decision will be made by an arm-length committee made of ASTG members. I am looking for members to join this committee. I would like to have from 2 to 5 people joining. The only criterion is that you are not an author of a work presented as part of the aerospace track, to prevent obvious conflict of interest.
If you join, your role will involve
- Read the camera-ready papers accepted to the Aerospace track -- you can expect from 5 to 10 papers, with a maximum length of 5 pages each.
- The revision would start after August 3rd, being the deadline to submit the camera-ready version
- Rank the papers based on their scientific merit
- Join an online discussion with the committee members to share your perspective and come to a decision for the award.
This sounds interesting? Please email me philippe.doyon-poulin@polymtl.ca such that I can add you to the committee.
Thank you for your support in ensuring the success of the Aerospace track!
