Surface Transportation Technical Group

Dear STTG Members,

The Surface Transportation Technical Group (STTG) is seeking session chairs and co-chairs for HFES ASPIRE 2026. STTG will be hosting a total of nine sessions this year:

Tuesday, October 20

• ST1: AI-Enabled Methods and Technologies for Transportation (1:30–2:30 pm)

• ST2: Driver Attention and Human State Monitoring (3:00–4:00 pm)

Wednesday, October 21

• ST3: Trust and Behavioral Adaptation in Mixed-Autonomy Traffic (11:00 am–12:00 pm)

• ST4: Takeover Performance and Driver Readiness in Automated Driving (1:30–2:30 pm)

• ST5: Driver Learning with Vehicle Technologies (3:00–4:00 pm)

• ST6: Human-Centered AI in Automated Driving (4:30–5:30 pm)

Thursday, October 22

• ST7: Automated Driving Interfaces (11:00 am–12:00 pm)

• ST8: Road User Behavior in Transportation Systems (3:00–4:00 pm)

Friday, October 23

• ST9: Human Factors in Transportation Operations (11:00 am–12:00 pm)

We encourage graduate students, academics, and industry practitioners to participate. If you are interested in serving as a session chair or co-chair, please complete this brief survey and indicate which session(s) you would be interested in chairing:
