📢 Calling all student researchers in perception and performance📢
The Perception and Performance Technical Group (PPTG) is now accepting proposals for the 2026 PPTG Student Research Grant. We'd love to support your work.
The essentials:
🎓 Open to all PPTG student members (new to the group? Part of the award can go toward your membership fee)
đź’° Awards of up to $500 - 1 to 2 grants will be funded
🔬 Use the funds for equipment, materials, participant compensation, or other research expenses 📅
Deadline: September 1, 2026
What to submit (as a single PDF):
- A structured 3-page proposal covering background & objectives, project description, a transparency & open science statement, budget justification, and references (double-spaced, 12-pt font, 1" margins)
- A signed letter of support from your advisor (1 page max)
- Awardees will share their findings through a PPTG webinar and an ASPIRE submission the following year. This requirement is there to help you build your network and visibility in the field.
