Thanks to everyone who participated at the ASTG business meeting. I attached the presentation file to this message for your review (PDF file).
Main highlights:
- 2024 budget of $31,595, stable year over year
- 378 members (+50% over 2 years)
- Two open roles to join the executive committee next year (TG vice chair and Program vice chair), nomination form opened up to Wednesday Nov. 27th.
ASTG has an exciting leadership team with our all-star volunteers Katie, Rodrigo and Shraddha. We meet every other Friday for 30 min to touch base and share responsibilities to organize news activities for our members.
We would love that you join the conversation. Simply email me (philippe.doyon-poulin@polymtl.ca) or Arjun (arjun.h.rao@boeing.com) and we will add you to the call. You will be able to find a volunteer role that you are comfortable with, and you will feel rewarded for supporting this scientific society. We are particularly interested in organizing activities targeted at student groups and early-career professionals to support their career development. Sounds exciting? Join us at our next call and share your ideas.

We want to hear from you. It's a good opportunity to share your ideas on how the TG can best support you, and what activities you would like to see organized next year.
