Dear HFES colleagues,
The Age and Ability Technical Group invites submissions to the HFES ASPIRE Annual Meeting. A2TG focuses on people of all ages and all abilities, from early childhood through older adulthood, with attention to how development, capability, and context shape interaction with products, systems, and environments. This includes work related to disability, neurodiversity, and chronic health conditions, framed as factors that inform analysis, design, evaluation, and policy.
We welcome contributions from researchers, practitioners, students, industry partners, and policymakers. Appropriate submissions place age, development, or ability at the center of the research question or design goal.
Awards at this year's meeting will include Best Paper, Best Paper Runner-Up, Best Poster, and Best Poster Runner-Up. To be considered, select A2TG as your Primary Technical Group during submission. Please submit through the HFES ASPIRE system (https://ssl.linklings.net/conferences/HFESAM/) and follow the deadline and guidelines posted on the HFES website. We look forward to a program that reflects the full lifespan and ability spectrum represented in our community.
Please let us know if you have any questions.
