Mid-Career Professionals

Career development is life long and our options change as we progress. Therefore, as one moves into the mid-career, it’s important to consider and take advantage of the associated opportunities. The mid-career professional group is focused on helping our members identify these opportunities as well as meet any challenges they face when advancing from the early stages of their careers or starting on new career paths. This makes our group quite broad and we welcome participation from HFES members at any stage of their career; we all have a lot to teach each other. Our goal is to equip the community with resources that allow our members to make informed decisions and best shape their career trajectories. In doing this, we aim to facilitate knowledge sharing among our members and will host presentations that can help shed light on how to make the best out of the middle of one's career. Although the subjects addressed focus on the mid-career they can help across one’s entire career arc.
