I am sharing this topic as it is relevant to adaptive learning research for those working in the US defense arena.

NTSA July Webinar - Making Learning Personal: The Promise and Current State of Adaptive Learning Wednesday, July 20
    11:00 am - 12:00 pm EDT (USA)

Adaptive learning promises to deliver highly tailored learning experiences that address each learner's unique needs. It employs artificial intelligence and machine learning to provide personalized learning paths, real-time feedback, resources, and assessments for students based on their current skills and performance. Algorithms determine precisely what the learner knows in order to recommend what learning experiences should occur next. By tailoring the sequence, difficulty, and type of learning content to the needs of each individual student, adaptive learning promises to accelerate time to proficiency and result in better learning outcomes and improved knowledge and skill transfer. The higher education sector has adopted and heavily invested in adaptive learning capabilities. But how is adoption across the DoD? What are some of the unique opportunities and challenges in this sector? Join us to hear from an expert panel that includes government and industry thought leaders, sponsors, and program leads who will share their experiences, approaches, and insights for implementing adaptive learning solutions.
