Hello, I am looking for advice and connections to transition into aerospace human factors in the NYC or Philly metro areas, leveraging my skillset in aerospace physiology RDT&E, and military aircrew training.

My relevant experience is in military aircrew altitude chamber and centrifuge training, RDT&E related to aerospace and thermal physiology, human cognitive and physiological performance in extreme environments, wearable sensor testing, and developmental testing of life support system components for military and government aircraft. Other previous experience is rehabilitation robotics clinical trials, consulting on new device development, and firefighter performance and physiology research in university.

I am considering what further education I may need versus on-the job training, if anyone would provide suggestions related to certificate or degree programs.

Thank you for you engagement in this community, and any advice or connections in this transition to the NYC or Philly metro areas.

Feel free to email me directly, or reply on this thread: ztkerns@gmail.com
