The EXTENDED REALITY TECHNICAL GROUP is concerned with human factors issues associated with human-virtual environment interaction. These issues include maximizing human performance efficiency in virtual environments, ensuring health and safety, and circumventing potential social problems through proactive assessment. For VE/VR systems to be effective and well received by their users, researchers need to focus significant efforts on addressing human factors issues. Names chage from Virtual Environments Technical Group to Extended Reality Group on January 27, 2023

    Dear XRTG Members,
    The Extended Reality Technical Group (XRTG) is going to launch the Fall Newsletter soon. We want to feature your achievements and accomplishments related to the field of VR/AR and human factors in the newsletter. If you have any such news to share with the community and celebrate it together, please let us know, and we will try to feature your story.

    For submitting your news/stories of achievements with us, please send us the following:
    1. A title for your achievement/accomplishment
    2. A short description of the news (about 300 words)
    3. Any relevant photos that you want to include.
