We are excited to announce the availability of three student travel grants for Aspire 2024, designed to support and recognize exceptional student contributions within the PPTG community.
PPTG Best Student Paper Travel Grants: Two $250 travel grants will be awarded to students who are the first authors of their work and will present it in a PPTG lecture session. Additionally, these students must be nominated for the "PPTG Best Student Paper 2024."
PPTG Inclusive Excellence Recognition Travel Grant: A third travel grant, named the PPTG Inclusive Excellence Recognition Travel Grant, provides an additional $250 travel grant to a student from a marginalized community. To qualify for this grant, the student must:
- Be the first author of a paper accepted for a PPTG session.
- Present the paper themselves.
- Confirm they do not already have full funding for travel.
HFES recognizes the following as marginalized communities: women, LGBTQ+, People of Color, and individuals with disabilities or chronic illnesses. If multiple applications meet these criteria, the grant will be awarded to the student whose paper is reviewed as the best among those who apply.

The travel grant check will be mailed to the awardee. To facilitate this, the winner is asked to submit additional information as soon as possible after the winner is announced. Please be aware that you should be able to submit the requested information between August 19 and August 21.
