    Dear HART TG members,
Our monthly TG member conversations are on the last Tuesdays of each month at 12 pm ET. This is a great learning and networking opportunity in HART TG.

Our next event will be on Tue, June 27th, from 12 pm to 1 pm ET. The topic of the lightning talk will be "Initial results of HAT outreach and future plans
." Our guest speaker is Jim McCarthy from Sonalysts

Jim McCarthy is a Vice President at Sonalysts (sahn-Ah-lists) where he has spent the last 30 years developing advanced training and performance support systems.  A focus of his work has been the creation, fielding, and evaluation of adaptive training and intelligent tutoring systems.  Together with his colleague Dr. Lillian Asiala (ah-see-ah-la), Jim has recently undertaken a corporate initiative to explore various issues associated with Human-AI teaming, with a special focus on the training of these teams.  He will be giving us an overview of the work they have completed so far and the efforts, such as the development of a research testbed, that appear on the near horizon.

A rough agenda is about 10 min lightning talk, followed by Q&A and group discussions. We are trying the big group approach rather than the small groups this year. Think about questions you may want to discuss with Jim and the group.

For those who missed Jim's talk and discussion about the Human-AI Teaming testbeds today, you can still contact Jim and Lilian for a copy of the extensive technical report they wrote based on the surveys and reviews that they have conducted in the past six months. They also welcome other related questions and feedback and potential collaboration opportunities. Below is their contact information.
