The Department of Biomedical and Health Information Sciences in the College of Applied Health Sciences at UIC has been awarded a Bridge to Faculty Scholar position. The Bridge to Faculty program recruits a cohort (between 8-10 people) of post-docs from underrepresented backgrounds. The program funds a 2 year post doc position to prepare them for a transition to tenure line faculty in year 3.
