The EXTENDED REALITY TECHNICAL GROUP is concerned with human factors issues associated with human-virtual environment interaction. These issues include maximizing human performance efficiency in virtual environments, ensuring health and safety, and circumventing potential social problems through proactive assessment. For VE/VR systems to be effective and well received by their users, researchers need to focus significant efforts on addressing human factors issues. Hello to all HFES Members!

Are you interested in augmented reality, mixed reality, or virtual reality? Do you want to see and try incredible demos that represent use cases and members from multiple HFES TGs? Are you curious about how to use these technologies in your profession?

If you said yes, or are just a curious person who was looking for a fun session to attend, then The XRTG is very excited to welcome members at the International Meeting to the XR Showcase!

This year's Showcase is located in Tenleytown on Floor 1. We have 13 demos that include on-person screening, visual illusions, exoskeletons, art galleries, scale worlds, and UX research! Follow the signs to find us, and see the amazing ways augmented reality, mixed reality, or virtual reality can be used!

This event was formerly the Me and My VE showcase.
