The deadline to submit a proposal to the Occupational Ergonomics Track has been extended to Monday, March 6th, 2023, at 11:59 pm ET. Take advantage of this opportunity and submit your work. We are looking forward to seeing you in Washington, D.C. Some topics of interest for this year include:  (1) occupational biomechanics (fatigue, motor control, musculoskeletal injury risk mechanics, material handling), (2) translating wearable technologies (e.g., sensors, exoskeletons) from research to practice, (3) advances in 3D anthropometry, (4) inclusive work design.

Don't forget we will be giving 5 awards this year! All submissions accepted to the Occupational Ergonomics track for presentation at the 67th International Annual Conference will be considered for the awards automatically by the program committee. Shortlisted presentations will be judged at the annual conference by a selected committee composed of OETG members. Each award winner will receive $300.

    1. Best Translation Paper: recognizes the application of research in the field to demonstrate positive changes to policies/practices/outcomes related to performance, safety, risk assessments, prognosis, prevention, or management of MSDs
    2. Best Computational Paper: recognizes the development (or application) of computational methods for studying mechanisms or models in biomechanics/fatigue/MSDs
    3. Best Experimental Paper: recognizes innovative experimental methods founded in Occupational Ergonomics to answer rigorous scientific questions relevant to emerging topics in our technical group
    4. Best Interdisciplinary Paper: recognizes the interdisciplinary and integrative efforts from multiple disciplines within and outside of Occupational Ergonomics to develop new tools/methodologies
    5. Best Poster: recognizes outstanding Occupational Ergonomics research presented as a poster during the 67th International Annual Meeting
