Hello, all! Again, thank you so much to all of you who volunteered as reviewers for this year's submissions. I'm sending out a reminder for the session chair call. To be recognized in the program, I'll need to submit session chairs tomorrow 26 July. Again, the TTG has 4 sessions that we are leading. Session chair responsibilities will include:
- Collecting PowerPoint files to upload on the provided laptop in the session to save time between speakers (suggested) - otherwise have speakers load presentations on the session laptop
- Asking presenters for a short bio you can use to introduce them
- Arriving at least 10 minutes early to meet your speakers before the session
- Providing Symposium Survey information during opening remarks and reminders for recordings, phones, etc.
- Warning speakers when they are reaching their time limit
- Making sure to adhere to the sequence and schedule listed in the program
- Prepare some "seed" questions for the Q&A portion (suggested)
You'll also be given a guide with additional and more detailed information.
