The Augmented Cognition Technical Group is holding nominations through April 17th, 2023 for 3 officer positions: Student Outreach Officer, Public Outreach Officer, and Webmaster. To submit nominations please email me directly and include name, email, professional affiliation, and a brief bio/statement (~100 words) explaining the qualifications of the nominee for the position and a description of why you believe TG members should vote for the nominee. Self-nominations are accepted and encouraged.
Student Outreach Officer
Facilitates the Student Grant Award which involves forming the committee of qualified reviewers, distributing the materials, tallying the votes, ensuring that the materials meet the call requirements and casting the tiebreaking vote if required. This officer also secures student grant update materials for the newsletter. No term limit.
Public Outreach Officer
Manages online presence including the LinkedIn account and other social media. Explores ways to expand public outreach that are sustainable for future officers. The public outreach officer posts augmented cognition content received from other officers (e.g., nomination solicitations, award announcements), but also actively searches for and generates content to connect with the Augmented Cognition community and encourage participation, dissemination of ideas, and networking. No term limit.
Webmaster
The Webmaster is responsible for maintaining and updating the TG's website. The webmaster is encouraged to transform or replace the website as needed, but the solution should be sustainable for future officers. No term limit.
