The EXTENDED REALITY TECHNICAL GROUP is concerned with human factors issues associated with human-virtual environment interaction. These issues include maximizing human performance efficiency in virtual environments, ensuring health and safety, and circumventing potential social problems through proactive assessment. For VE/VR systems to be effective and well received by their users, researchers need to focus significant efforts on addressing human factors issues.     Submit an Abstract to Present at ASPIRE

    Submit your work to be considered for presentation at the ASPIRE-the International Annual Meeting of the HFES, held September 9-13, 2024, at the Arizona Biltmore Resort in Phoenix. ASPIRE offers an unparalleled opportunity to share your latest work and network with fellow professionals in the field of HF/E.

    The call for abstracts has been extended to February 28, 2024, and submissions will be accepted up until 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time.

    Don't forget to view what's new with the 2024 submission process before submitting. We encourage you to view the recording of the February 9 HFES Open House to hear directly from leaders about these changes.

    Submit an abstract for the opportunity to establish yourself as a leader in the discipline of HF/E by presenting your work to an international audience.
