The AEROSPACE SYSTEMS TECHNICAL GROUP is concerned with the application of human factors to the development, design, certification, operation, and maintenance of human-machine systems in aviation and space environments. The group addresses issues for civilian and military systems in the realms of performance and safety.

    The 2022 Naval UX Forum will be held August 23-24 in San Diego. This event was previously Naval UX Day and focused on government and military employees, and this year is expanding to include industry and academia which will enable a greater scope of discussion, learning, and sharing. Though called "UX", the full range of human engineering capabilities is included.

    Abstracts for presentations are due July 11 and registration will open shortly. You can learn more at navalux.org

    Sponsorships are also available. The information will be posted online shortly, but they range from $500 to $5000 and you can learn more by emailing johnmarkowicz@orbisinc.net and jack.l.turner@xsitellc.com.
