The HUMAN PERFORMANCE MODELING TECHNICAL GROUP The Human Performance Modeling Technical Group focuses on the development and application of predictive, reliable, and executable quantitative models of human performance. In distinction to other approaches to behavioral and cognitive modeling, human performance modeling considers the human, engaged in some goal-directed behavior, in the context of a designed task environment.

    Dear HPM-TG members,

    Please find attached the meeting minutes of our virtual business meeting this year. Congratulations to our award winners!
    • HPM-TG Best Paper Award (non-student work) winners: Lorraine Borghetti, Megan Morris, Jack Rhodes, Ashley Haubert, Bella Veksler, "Gamma Oscillations Index Sustained Attention in a Brief Vigilance Task"
    • HPM-TG Best Student Paper Award winners: Courtney Middlekoop, Colten Fales, Richard Stone, Joseph Kim, Kristina Schaffhausen, & Fatima Mgaedeh, "Effects of Experience on Gymnasts' Kinematics and Performances"


    During the meeting, we discussed some interesting ideas and thoughts about HPM, which I will create separate threads to welcome further discussion.
